The Sales Executive sells web design and marketing solutions to businesses small and large by effective cold calling/prospecting within a specified territory. The SE generates all sales leads through a variety of prospecting tactics and works every lead from initial contact to sale. The SE handles the development and implementation of a Louisville Territory Plan under the instruction of the Director of Business Development.
*This is not a remote position. Candidates must live full-time in the Greater Louisville Area*
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a hunter sales position for our Louisville, KY market. The SE is 100% focused on generating new clients.
Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities such as sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities, including the use of a CRM tool, to maintain accurate records and maximize territory potential.
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Have a complete understanding of JLB's business model, value proposition, and services offered.
* Demonstrate selling skills and product knowledge.
* Communicating with developers and marketing staff to find solutions.
* Being flexible and adapting to changing needs in the Sales Department.
* Attend local networking events, trade shows, and other Louisville networking activities to generate customer opportunities.
* Meet and exceed JLB's performance standards as defined in the employee handbook.
* Attend and participate in sales meetings as established by management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 3+ years of outside business sales experience in the technology space as a hunter.
* Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets preferred
* Some knowledge of digital marketing, web design, or WordPress would be beneficial
* Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
* Proficient in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
* Display and encourage a positive attitude.
PREFERRED EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
