Business Development / Outside Sales Representative

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development / Outside Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with prospective clients, and expanding our market presence. You will work closely with our internal teams to understand customer needs, present solutions, and close sales in a competitive landscape.

This role requires office hours in Frisco, Texas, on Mondays and as needed for training. However, the vast majority of its duties will be conducted in Bellaire, Meyerland & West University.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and target potential customers in the assigned territory through various means, including cold calls, networking events, trade shows, and digital outreach.
  • Sales Presentations & Meetings: Conduct product presentations, demos, and sales meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and offering ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to effectively position the company's offerings and identify growth opportunities.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead the negotiation process and close deals in a timely manner while ensuring that terms align with the company's goals and profitability.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting: In the CRM, maintain accurate records of all client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities. Provide regular updates and sales forecasts to management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, and customer service) to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs to contribute to the sales department's overall success.

About You:

  • Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative, Business Development Representative, or similar role, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the industry and competitive landscape.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Potential OTE: $58,000 annually, which includes a guaranteed monthly commission for your first 12 months + any bonuses
