Position Overview
We’re seeking an entry- to mid-level Outside Sales Representative to join our growing Michigan team. This role is ideal for someone with 3–10 years of sales or business development experience—preferably in the stone, building materials, or construction industry—who is looking to grow into a sales leadership position over time based on performance.
You’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building client relationships, and managing customer accounts, with the potential for expanded leadership responsibilities as you grow in the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow customer accounts within an assigned territory.
- Develop new B2B relationships with fabricators, builders, contractors, and designers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend solutions from our product offerings.
- Track sales activities and customer interactions using cloud-based CRM tools (Repsly, Stone Profit System).
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing product and sales training.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3–10 years of outside sales or business development experience (B2B preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Familiarity with the stone, construction, or building materials industry is a plus.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using mobile sales and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel within assigned region (mostly local).
- A desire to grow into a sales leadership role over time.
