Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you’ll build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and homeowners while driving sales of millwork and building materials, including windows, exterior and interior doors, stair parts, and more. If you thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused sales environment and enjoy being on-site, networking, and closing deals, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Schedule: 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday – Friday
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000/yr.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales growth through existing accounts and new business development.
Build strong relationships within the residential construction community.
Quote projects, prepare bids, process sales orders, and follow up on leads.
Perform take-offs, change orders, and accurate project estimates.
Meet and exceed monthly sales call targets and quarterly/annual quotas.
Research upcoming subdivisions, network with builders, and generate new opportunities.
Represent the company at job sites, in showrooms, and through phone/email communication.
Ensure profitability by maintaining acceptable margins and supporting customer satisfaction.
Stay up to date on industry trends, use quoting/order entry software, and maximize productivity.
Qualifications:
Must have 10 years of sales experience.
Must have sold Millwork, on the road Middle Tennessee area.
Minimum 1 year of experience in contractor sales or the construction industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Business is helpful but not required.
On-the-job training provided for continued growth and career success.
