Moeller Precision Tool is centrally located within the Metro Detroit area, offering a 45-minute commute from Ann Arbor or Troy, Michigan. You'll have access to various local restaurants for lunch, easy I-96 access, and nearby apartment options.

This is a hybrid role based off-site, with regular in-person collaboration at our headquarters in Wixom, MI. Proximity to our Wixom location is essential for maintaining strong team engagement and operational efficiency.

Position Summary and Purpose:

Moeller Precision Tool is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative—either an experienced professional or someone new to the field who brings a strong mechanical background and some sales experience. If you're mechanically inclined, comfortable speaking with customers, and eager to learn, we’re ready to train you. This role focuses on revitalizing and growing underutilized accounts across Southeast Michigan. It’s a great opportunity to build lasting relationships, uncover new business opportunities, and contribute to the growth of a respected company with extensive manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivating relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Leading sales efforts in Southeastern Michigan.
• Staying abreast of industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborating with our Sales Team to enhance marketing efforts.
• Participating in industry trade shows to showcase our offerings.
• Representing the company at trade shows.

Requirements (Must-Haves):

• Based near Wixom, MI.
• Mechanical aptitude is required—whether through hands-on experience, education, or previous roles.
• Some sales experience is required, even if not in industrial sales.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Willing to occasionally travel.
• Comfortable working remotely.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn and be trained in our products, processes, and sales approach.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):

• Familiarity with stamping and/or machining processes.
