Outside Sales Representative – Building Materials

The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to help expand the company’s footprint across Houston and beyond. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, developing new business, and providing tailored solutions to contractors, builders, and developers. You’ll have the backing of an established operation with the agility of a privately held company that puts decision-making close to the customer.


What You’ll Do

• Grow a portfolio of builder, contractor, and multifamily accounts.

• Prospect new customers and identify opportunities in both residential and light commercial construction markets.

• Partner with inside sales, operations, and delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Provide quotes, product recommendations, and technical support as needed.

• Consistently track sales activity and results to meet or exceed revenue goals.

• Proven track record in outside sales within building materials.

• Strong relationships in the Houston construction market a plus.

• Self-starter who thrives in a relationship-driven, performance-based role.

• Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to balance hunting for new business with growing existing accounts.
