Essential Functions: · Build and maintain professional relationships with customers by providing outstanding customer service. · Maintain and expand client database within your assigned industry/territory. · Research potential accounts and generate or follow through sales leads. · Evaluate customers’ profession and needs to capitalize on additional selling opportunities. · Protect the Company by maintaining approved profit margins and paying close attention to sales tax rates. · Protect the Company by following procedures for new and existing customers (approved credit application prior to sales order submittal, staying within credit limits established by Accounting, respecting ON HOLD account rules, assisting with collections as requested by Accounts Receivable). · Complete and turn in sales call reports as defined by your Manager. · Enter and submit sales orders to dispatch for timely delivery. · When needed, help warehouse team pull orders, load pallets, load trucks and occasionally deliver inventory to customer locations. · Attend meetings and sales trainings, as well as complete the published list of Sphere 1 University classes for professional development. · Protect the Company by keeping information confidential. · Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment: · Sitting, standing and walking intermittently throughout the day · Using office equipment such as computer, mouse, keyboard, printer · Indoor office environment, temperature controlled · Frequent exposure to warehouse operations with noise levels that may vary and include large trucks, forklifts, groups of construction workers, etc. · Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear · Use specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus · Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds

Education and Experience: · High School diploma or equivalent required · Must possess a valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation and an excellent driving record · Prior experience working in a sales role within the manufacturing industry strongly preferred · Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently, and communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level
Expected Hours of Work: This role is considered full-time working approximately 40 hours per week and not eligible for overtime due to base + commission levels This position is expected to report Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm, with occasional duties that fall outside these general guidelines.
Compensation details: 65000-110000 Yearly Salary
