Gecko Alliance, an innovative Qubec-based company, is a leader in developing technologies for spa manufacturers. In close partnership with our clients, we design cutting-edge solutions that enhance the user experience: control systems, keypads, pumps, and accessories.
We are seeking a Outside Technical Salesto join our Commercial Operations team. This strategic role combines technical expertise, business acumen, and project management to ensure customer satisfaction and the success of our proposed solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and propose tailored technical solutions;
Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations;
Participate in the introduction of new products and ensure a smooth transition into customer operations;
Identify and qualify new business opportunities in collaboration with the business development teams.
Technical Consulting
Act as a technical expert for customers by recommending the best configurations or customizations;
Work with product, R&D, and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and propose innovative solutions;
Stay up to date with market trends and emerging technologies to anticipate customer needs.
After-Sales Support
Provide ongoing technical support and resolve technical issues;
Deliver training sessions to clients to optimize product use;
Conduct feasibility studies, proofs of concept, and pre-sales testing;
Collaborate with support and implementation teams to ensure successful deployments.
Project Management
Coordinate customer projects in collaboration with internal teams (sales, engineering, production, quality);
Define key milestones, deliverables, and timelines with the client;
Monitor project progress, anticipate risks, and adjust plans as needed;
Serve as the main point of contact for the client throughout the project, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications
College or university degree in engineering, electronics, electrical, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or technical support in a manufacturing or technology environment.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
Experience with CRM and project management tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Autonomy, rigor, and strong customer service orientation.
Englishfluent. French and Spanish will be considered an asset,but notneccessary.
