Meat Team Member Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Meat Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality products. Responsibilities: Ensure a fresh and appealing display by checking product quality, maintaining a clean working environment, rotating stock, and removing expired items. Maintain backstock in good order and ensure accurate inventory levels. Assist with in-store promotions, including sampling programs and visual merchandising. Clean equipment, cases, floors, and drains regularly to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Arrive on time, dressed professionally, and ready to work; attend required trainings and meetings. Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs promptly, and model suggestive selling techniques. Maximize sales potential through proper product handling, storage, and merchandising procedures. Follow established safety protocols, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation guidelines, and safe work practices. Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment, adhering to WFM cleanliness and safety standards. Perform opening, mid-day, and closing duties as assigned; verify accuracy of signs and pricing. Immediately report any safety hazards or violations. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or certification preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Basic math skills and attention to detail.
