Required Midday Availability About the Role In this engaging role, you will provide exceptional customer service during point of sale transactions and assist in various customer service processes. Your focus will be on delivering efficient service while ensuring a positive and memorable customer experience. What You'll Do Welcome customers warmly and assist them with their product inquiries and purchases. Operate the cash register, scan merchandise, bag items, and manage various payment methods smoothly. Consistently meet or exceed individual goals, such as credit and loyalty program enrollments. Support inventory accuracy by following all required point of sale procedures and merchandise handling guidelines. Help train new hires on best practices in customer service and point of sale processes while upholding Kohl's brand standards. Participate in daily operational tasks, including register balancing, change orders, and supply replenishment. All associates are also responsible for: Acting with integrity and promoting a culture of teamwork and inclusion. Exercising sound judgment when making decisions and collaborating with the right partners. Maintaining a customer-focused mindset, anticipating and addressing customer needs effectively. Managing multiple tasks within defined deadlines. Following company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines diligently. Responding positively to direction from supervisors and colleagues. Other duties may be assigned as needed. What Skills You Have Strong customer service abilities with a knack for multitasking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. No prior retail experience is necessary. Must be at least 16 years of age or older. Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Pay Starts At: $12.50
