About the Role: As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate, your main goal will be to deliver outstanding customer service and enhance the shopping experience at Kirkland's. You will play a vital role in driving sales growth by engaging with customers, performing various operational tasks, and collaborating with the management team. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service in-store and online. Engage actively with customers and model effective selling techniques. Greet every customer warmly and maintain a positive, enthusiastic demeanor. Educate customers about loyalty programs, promotions, and product offerings to encourage sales. Support a respectful and professional environment for both customers and colleagues. Meet or exceed sales goals associated with company initiatives. Assist in the timely receipt of merchandise and maintain an organized sales floor and stockroom. Ensure accurate merchandise presentation and maintain inventory accuracy. Embody and promote Kirkland's values: customer commitment, caring culture, winning attitude, and innovative spirit. Perform additional tasks as required to support the team. Qualifications: Energetic and results-driven with a passion for success. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Availability for weekends, holidays, and evenings. Ability to understand company policies and procedures. Willingness to work a flexible schedule to fit the store's needs. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Capacity to use ladders and retrieve stock as needed. Frequent movement around the store to assist and greet customers. Ability to communicate effectively with customers in various ways. Capability to lift merchandise weighing 50 pounds or more. Experience operating Point of Sale systems and handheld devices accurately.
