Reporting to the P&L Manager, the Planning and Sales Administrator will be coordinating and scheduling production activities to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing processes. This position requires a deep understanding of operational processes, strategic planning, and the ability to manage resources and schedules effectively. The role will also involve overseeing new product releases, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards

Reporting to the P&L Manager, the Planning and Sales Administrator will be coordinating and scheduling production activities to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing processes. This position requires a deep understanding of operational processes, strategic planning, and the ability to manage resources and schedules effectively. The role will also involve overseeing new product releases, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Maintain and update customer databases and portals with accurate information
- Communicate with customers regarding order updates (quantities, delivery dates)
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and fax promptly and professionally
- Address any customer complaints and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer service
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department or manager
- Verify customer information and ensure all transactions are completed correctly
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback
- Respond to customer requests in collaboration with sales team members, and provide required documentation promptly
- Maintain regular communication with the sales, accounting, and production team regarding any issues that may impact order fulfillment
- Supporting multiple departments by managing administrative tasks, coordinating purchase orders and order fulfillment, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining sales records, and ensuring smooth communication between departments
- This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School graduate
- 2+ years customer service experience (in a manufacturing environment is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others
- Ability to handle various customer inquires professionally and efficiently
- Strong excel skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively with a strong sense of urgency
- Positive attitude and a solid commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
