THE POSITION As the Principal Application/System Sales Engineer , you will serve as the key technical expert responsible for creating and documenting standard applications and reference architectures to drive sales in your assigned vertical market. You will collaborate closely with sales and support teams to understand customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and deliver impactful demonstrations and presentations. Your deep product knowledge and ability to communicate value effectively will be crucial for sales growth. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance, conduct training, and build strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure successful solution development and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will facilitate sales of complex application/system solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to business growth. YOU MUST HAVE Extensive experience in sales engineering or technical sales, preferably in application/system solutions. Deep knowledge of Honeywell's products and their applications, with the ability to communicate their value effectively. Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities to understand complex customer requirements and develop solutions. Excellent presentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. A proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a technical environment. Strong customer relationship management skills for building and maintaining long-term client relationships. WE VALUE Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields. Additional certifications in sales or technical solutions. Experience selling application/system solutions in specific industries.
