About the role: Drive business optimization and continuous improvement by collaborating with divisional teams to oversee initiatives and Value Improvement Program [VIP] aligned with BSC’s Gross Margin and Operating Income targets. Lead the implementation of key projects using project management tools and industry best practices, ensuring effective indirect leadership and coordination of cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver measurable results and sustainable performance improvements. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborate with teams to inspire, drive, and support Value Improvement/ Continuous Improvement to deliver business outcomes. Work cross-culturally motivating teams in the development and adoption of global best practices in difficult scenarios. Manage projects with cross-functional teams to enhance performance and influence leaders to implement these best practices. Facilitate Kaizen workshops to solve complex problems, share and promote successful strategies, and facilitate best practices. Influence best practices and adoption of improvement ideas, activities, and outcomes. Facilitate best in class Value Improvement, Lean, and Lean Business Process (LBP), and Value Improvement Process (VIP) training for employees at all levels. Coach and mentor teams to apply Lean & problem-solving thinking methodologies to develop solutions for process improvement opportunities. Provide change management coaching and application. Direct project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans. Responsible for team and cross-functional communications; project meeting minutes, issues log, metrics, and other key communications. Required qualifications: BS/BA Degree in Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience. 5+ years of Process Improvement / Lean related experience in medical device environment. Proven results applying lean in enterprise-wide and transactional environments. Willingness to travel as needed. Preferred qualifications: Self-starter and entrepreneurial/consultant mindset. Ability to build enthusiasm for change. Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated project management skills.
