Salary:

SUMMARY

The Public Safety Sales Representative is responsible for sales to the Fire/EMS/LE market and product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle of designated products. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, working closely with the product development, operations, sales, and marketing teams, and providing technical support to meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals. The Public Safety Sales Representative is a self-directed subject matter expert with specific knowledge in U.S. emergency medical, law enforcement, and tactical medical devices. The Public Safety Sales Representative will deliver professional, consistent, and customer-oriented service and will maintain favorable customer relationships with key decision-makers and distributors inworkplace safety. The Public Safety Sales Representative is responsible for soliciting and maintaining favorable contacts and closing sales negotiations with appropriate customers and agencies.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
This is not an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities. Projects/duties may be modified/changed/added/deleted as needed.

  • Develop and cultivate professional relationships with key product suppliers to enhance product promotion.
  • Develops and wins Workplace Safety business.
  • Responsible for customer relationship management (CRM) with designated contacts, to include but not limited to - USlaw enforcement operators, SWAT, EMS, combat medics, special operations medics, paramedics, physicians, other healthcare providers, and first responders.
  • Establishes strategic sales goals to meet NAR objectives and increase market share and profitability of NAR products to customers.
  • Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors of targeted markets and capitalizes on opportunities to maximize the sales of NAR products.
  • Evaluate targeted market research and adjust sales strategy to meet changing market demands
  • Conducts visits to customers to establish relationships, identify needs and requirements, and advise NAR management of recommended product changes or opportunities for new product developments.
    • Is the program lead at trade shows and other promotional events within the Fire and EMS marketplace.

  • Completes any tasks and/or projects assigned by the supervisor

AUTHORITY

  • No direct reports



QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelors degree in a related field preferred. Will also consider Business, Life Science or similar degree.

Experience

  • Certification as a Nationally Registered Paramedic required, with additional certification as a Firefighter II, TP-C, CCEMTP highly desired.
  • Current relevant work experience as a NREMTP is required with current critical care work experience is highly desired.
  • 3 years or more of product portfolio management preferred.

DEMANDS

Time and Availability

  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours each week from 8 a.m. 5 p.m. dictated by the needs of the business.
  • Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.





Travel

  • Must be able to travel to headquarters in Greer, South Carolina as needed.
  • Able to travel up to 70%.
