Job description: We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager (Midwest). This is remote position and the candidate can be based anywhere in Minnesota.

Our client is subsidiary of global manufacturing business focused on the construction and mining markets. They are financially strong and have experienced steady growth through the development of innovative products allowing for market share expansion and they are looking for experienced Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest region.
This is a remote position, and the preferred candidate should be based in Minnesota.
The purpose of the role is to increases sales of all product groups and supervise the selection and development of dealers in their territory while working with key end users. The salary is $110,000-$120,000 plus bonus (Around $20,000 per year)
The role: Increase sales volume in respective territory for Construction, Mining, and Attachments product lines for existing / new dealers and customers. Plan an itinerary and conduct calls on a weekly basis, reporting activities in call reports Working through dealers and direct, locate all opportunities for sales in the territory, including end user visits, new projects, conversions about product, and take positive action to capitalize on these opportunities Direct dealer sales efforts by setting target sales, specific end users and specific products, through the joint working plans Motivate and train dealer personnel at all levels about the application of our client product offering, policies, pricing programs and how to provide added value support to the end users Attend and participate in sales meetings, conventions, trade shows and dealer schools as requested Aid in the development of new products, including communicating ideas for new product development or modification to current products. Facilitate the testing and research of new products conversions to new uses and applications Report and resolve dealer problems concerning product warranty, inventory maintenance, payments and pricing issues Qualifications: The person: 3 plus -years of sales experience in mining, construction or heavy equipment machinery industry Bachelors degree Business, Communication, or related field Demonstrates a customer oriented and aggressive sales attitude Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (writing and verbal) Able to successfully manage multiple projects at once with a sense of drive and strong attention to detail Experience in the mining and construction markets is preferred 5-years of experience with GET is preferred Microsoft Office proficient Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentations Travel to visit customers and dealers within the Northeast Region
