The Regional Sales Manager will oversee business development efforts, guide strategic sales initiatives, and enjoy the rewards of leading a high-performance team in a thriving, growth-oriented environment.
Leadership
Lead and manage a team of Business Developers focused on commercial maintenance sales.
Apply your commercial maintenance sales and leadership, and commercial maintenance expertise to increase the skills of each business developer to improve prospecting, proposals, customer presentations, and close ratios to significantly increase their annual sales.
Set performance standards and KPIs, conduct regular one-on-one meetings to ensure measurable improvements, and hold team members accountable for meeting and exceeding goals.
Hire, train, and onboard new Business Developers in alignment with company growth plans.
Sales Operation
Oversee sales activities across multiple territories within the company's operational footprint.
Manage, expand, and diversify the commercial maintenance portfolio in the territories with accountability that includes territory reviews, improved route density, and customer assessments.
Execute strategic account development and drive key client relationships.
Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships, identify expansion opportunities, and maintain competitive market intelligence while training your team to do the same.
Leverage the CRM for comprehensive performance tracking, optimized reporting, and improved team performance.
Demonstrate your expertise in lead prospecting, proposal templates, client presentations, and deal closure activities.
Attend trade shows, networking events, and client meetings to strengthen market presence and foster relationships.
Leverage CRM tools to track sales activities, optimize reporting, and improve overall team performance.
Deliver ROI analysis on sales activities and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience of personal sales success while managing a team in commercial services or related industries.
Ability to create impactful prospecting, sales proposals, and marketing strategies and to improve closing ratio and customer relationships.
Proficiency in CRM systems (experience with Monday.com or Aspire preferred).
Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time across assigned territories.
Innovative thinker with a strategic mindset and ability to execute corporate vision.
Background in commercial landscape maintenance sales preferred.
Experience expanding market share across multiple regions is preferred.
