Summary

The Western Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth across the Western U.S. by expanding business with existing accounts and developing new customer relationships. This position will focus on packaging solutions in blow molding and rigid plastic containers, leveraging the company’s manufacturing facility in North Las Vegas, NV, while covering a regional territory that includes CA, NV, AZ, UT, OR, WA, ID, and surrounding states.

This role requires frequent travel to the Las Vegas facility as well as customer sites across the Western region. Candidates must be based in the Western U.S.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to maximize market penetration in key industries (food & beverage, consumer goods, industrial, healthcare, and personal care packaging).

  • Drive organic growth with existing customers while cultivating new business relationships.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term, multi-level customer relationships.

  • Negotiate commercial agreements aligned with company objectives on pricing and profitability.

  • Collaborate closely with the North Las Vegas manufacturing facility to align customer needs with operational capabilities.

  • Manage sales opportunities and pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot).

  • Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and business development plans.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by partnering with engineering, operations, and customer service teams.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 3–7 years of direct sales experience; packaging sales experience strongly preferred.

  • Sales Leadership: Minimum 3 years of sales management experience, with proven success in building teams, negotiating, and influencing stakeholders.

  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals, expanding regional revenue, and improving profitability.

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing economics, packaging operations, and cost structures.

  • Technology: Proficient with CRM systems (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
