JOB SUMMARY: The Relief Sales Representative is responsible for servicing and selling products into assigned accounts when the Primary Account Sales Representative is off or on vacation. Utilizing the Markstein Sales Processes and delivering great customer service to deliver Volume & Revenue targets is the essential function of the role. This position is used as the primary pool for Sales Route Ownership. Currently Markstein is looking for a qualified Candidate to work in the Clayton, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek Area.
Compensation Pay Range: $50,000 - $53,000 plus Car Allowance To meet the continuous demands of the business, the employee may be expected to carry out additional relevant tasks as assigned.

Job Duties: (not a comprehensive list)
Service and sell a set of assigned accounts in a specific geographic area utilizing the Markstein Sales Process. Take proper inventory to write the correct order, introduce new items into distribution, and sell in displays are all functions of the role. Rotate, Stock, and ensuring quality control of all Markstein products are met is essential. Must be willing to travel within Alameda and Contra Costa County to perform job duties. Solid Communication skills are required in this role.
Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a valid California Class C Driver’s license. Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience. 1-3 years of beverage or consumer product sales experience is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word) Must know how to use Apple products such I-phones, and I-pads. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and be attentive to details. Highly self-motivated and able to work hours as required. Who Are We: Markstein Sales Company is a fourth-generation, woman-owned and operated wholesale beverage distributor based in Antioch, Calif.
