Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, manager-level professional to join our residential painting company. This role begins as a hands-on coordinator responsible for managing sales-related communications, appointment scheduling and business development, but will evolve into a leadership position responsible for building and overseeing the sales coordination department as the company grows.
The ideal candidate will have strong sales coordination skills, exceptional phone skills, proficiency with CRM systems, and the ability to think critically and learn quickly.
Key Responsibilities
Initial Role Duties:
Operate company phone systems to manage inbound and outbound calls and messages effectively.
Field inbound inquiries, qualify leads, and schedule sales appointments.
Conduct outbound follow-up calls to prospects and existing leads.
Screen, qualify, and schedule appointments for the Sales division with precision and professionalism.
Manage virtual "front desk" responsibilities, including answering inquiries, routing communications, and maintaining a positive first impression with clients.
Update and manage CRM data (Pipedrive), ensuring accuracy in pipelines, stages, and custom fields.
Maintain and organize appointment schedules for the sales team.
Perform research on neighborhoods, zip codes, and landmarks to ensure accurate communication with clients.
Adapt to local and regional nuances in U.S. markets served.
Cultivate relationships via outbound phone, email and social campaigns
Qualifications
Required:
Proven experience in phone-based sales and/or sales coordination.
Proficiency in Pipedrive CRM (or similar), with strong ability to manage pipelines, stages, and custom fields.
Excellent spoken English
Willingness to learn Philadelphia geography
Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
Dual monitor setup for efficient multitasking.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
Preferred:
Experience in residential services (e.g., design, painting, remodeling, renovations).
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a sales or customer service environment.
Background in developing teams or building departments from the ground up.
