Compensation and Benefits Base Salary: starting pay $16.00 per hour plus competitive commission on all sales and services and bonuses Performance bonuses with each goal achievement Bonuses and incentives for achieving sales targets Opportunities for advancement within the company IRA contributions for eligible associates Comprehensive training and development programs Competitive hourly wage and commission structure Working Hours 34-36 hours per week Flexible scheduling Store hours: 10 am to 6 pm (Monday to Friday), 10 am to 4 pm (Saturday) Closed on Sundays Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting the perfect jewelry pieces Drive sales in a high-end retail setting Welcome customers by greeting them Advise customers by providing information on products Sell merchandise to consistently meet or exceed sales expectations Provide outstanding customer service and a high-quality shopping experience to grow the customer base Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records Process payments (checks, cash, and store or other credit cards) Keep clientele informed of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Understand and utilize policies and procedures to handle transactions and customer service issues appropriately Perform store setup and closing operations, including opening/closing office area and moving jewelry to/from the store safe and display areas Perform basic store maintenance, merchandising, and other required activities to keep the store clean, safe, and inviting Stay up-to-date with product knowledge Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals Build customer relationships with existing clients by outreach via phone, email, or other forms of communication Qualifications Customer service skills are essential for providing exceptional service Previous customer service experience is highly desired Sales goal-oriented individuals are encouraged to apply Dependability is crucial to ensure reliable service Strong communication abilities to convey product information and promotions Organizational skills to maintain customer records and store merchandise Motivated and responsible with willingness to learn and grow in a sales role Friendly and outgoing personality
