Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers as they enter the store, creating a friendly and informative shopping environment. Product Knowledge: Offer detailed information about our unique products and address customer inquiries proficiently. Sales Promotions: Keep customers updated about current discounts and special promotions for an enhanced shopping experience. Product Familiarity: Stay informed on the latest products and ongoing promotions to guide customers effectively and promote upselling. Merchandising: Organize and restock merchandise on shelves to ensure an appealing product presentation. Transaction Handling: Operate the cash register accurately, processing payments with efficiency. Store Maintenance: Help maintain a tidy store by managing the back stockroom and setting up engaging product displays. Inventory Management: Conduct routine inventory checks to keep stock levels accurate and organized. Administrative Support: Assist the Store Manager and team with various administrative tasks as needed. Store Operations: Participate in the store's opening and closing procedures, following all operational guidelines. Qualifications: Previous experience in a Retail Sales Associate role or a similar environment is preferred. Knowledge of inventory management and stocking procedures is a plus. Basic mathematical skills for transaction handling and inventory management are necessary. History of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in previous roles. Exceptional communication skills for building trust with customers and team members. Able to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Experience working collaboratively within a team. A dependable and professional demeanor with a positive attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including morning, evening, and weekends. Genuine interest in Daiso's unique products. Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that require bending and stretching.
