Roofing Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will lead Gulf South Roofing’s sales team. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
Recruit, train, and coach sales representatives.
Set clear sales goals, KPIs, and performance expectations.
Conduct regular one-on-one reviews and team meetings.
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
Oversee lead distribution, pipeline tracking, and close ratios.
Work with marketing to ensure alignment on campaigns, lead generation, and community engagement.
Customer Experience & Quality Control
Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring transparency and integrity in every deal.
Enforce adherence to Gulf South Roofing’s processes, warranties, and quality standards.
Resolve escalated customer concerns quickly and professionally.
Reporting & Analysis
Track weekly/monthly sales performance against goals.
Prepare reports for executive leadership on revenue, pipeline health, and market trends.
Identify opportunities for new markets, upsells, and cross-sells (sheet metal, service, etc.).
Qualifications
3–5+ years in sales leadership, preferably in construction, roofing, or related trades.
Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
Proficiency with CRM and project management tools (JobNimbus, Smartsheet, or similar ).
Growth mindset, integrity-driven leadership, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation Structure
Base Salary (Security + Leadership)
$65,000 – $85,000 annually (depending on experience and market ).
Provides stability while rewarding leadership and process accountability.
Commission / Override (Performance-Based Incentive)
2–3% override on company net revenue OR
0.5–1% override on gross profit (recommended for tighter alignment with profitability).

Tier Example (Based on Revenue):
0–$3M = 1% override
$3–$5M = 1.5% override
$5M+ = 2% override
Bonus Opportunities
Quarterly team goal bonus: $2,500–$5,000 if company exceeds revenue/profit targets.
Quality bonus: $500–$1,000 per quarter tied to warranty/quality metrics (fewest callbacks, highest NPS).
Total Expected Compensation (OTE)
$95,000 – $140,000+ annually depending on performance.
