As a Route Sales Associate, you will build strong business partnerships with customers and be dedicated to meeting their needs. You will engage with key decision-makers to gather valuable insights that help improve product offerings and services. This role focuses on capitalizing on sales opportunities and maintaining an account ownership mindset to ensure customer retention. COMPENSATION: The hourly pay for this position ranges from $21.00 to $23.00 , depending on qualifications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Meet and exceed sales expectations while promoting route growth and customer retention. Identify and solicit new business, boosting revenue through sales of new items to existing customers. Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, demonstrating excellent customer service. Respond proactively to customer issues and opportunities to enhance account performance. Ensure safe loading/unloading of products, timely deliveries, and proper stock rotation. Drive company vehicles safely and follow traffic regulations while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and organization. Manage inventory levels at customer sites and ensure product quality. Prepare accurate daily accounting of all transactions following established guidelines. Provide clear communication with management regarding customer interactions and competitive findings. QUALIFICATIONS: 1-2 years of experience in a role with significant public interaction. High School Diploma or G.E.D required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years. Strong communication skills and the ability to respond swiftly to changing situations. Proficient in customer sales techniques and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while managing time effectively and providing top-notch client service.
