Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Executive with proven experience in the Commercial and SLED (State, Local, and Education) sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure sales, with the ability to manage complex sales cycles, cultivate high-value relationships, and consistently achieve revenue targets.
Success in this role requires strategic execution, relationship management, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions that address client needs. A strong network within the SLED and commercial markets, combined with deep industry knowledge, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market presence in commercial and SLED accounts.
Manage the sales pipeline and ensure consistent lead flow and opportunity development.
Drive the full sales cycle, from prospecting through contract closure.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Collaborate with OEMs, technology vendors, and partners to expand reach and enhance offerings.
Client Engagement
Conduct client needs assessments to identify and deliver tailored cybersecurity and IT solutions.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and value delivery.
Sales Operations
Effectively manage the end-to-end sales process using CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred; Salesforce acceptable).
Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and regular updates to leadership.
Collaboration & Market Intelligence
Work cross-functionally with engineering, solution architecture, and marketing teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Stay current on industry trends, procurement policies, and competitor activities to refine strategies.
Key Qualifications
Experience
5–7+ years of sales experience in the SLED and/or commercial sectors.
Demonstrated success in managing large, complex sales cycles and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and digital transformation solutions.
Skills
Expertise in building and executing comprehensive sales strategies.
Proven ability to cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships.
Strong technical aptitude with understanding of zero-trust architecture, segmentation, and hybrid workforce solutions.
CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred; Salesforce acceptable).
Communication
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to clearly present complex technical information to both technical and business audiences.
