Position Summary The Sales Administrator enhances the customer experience across quoting, order processing, pricing, order status, and CRM updates. This role ensures the voice of the customer is represented within the organization, while also conducting research on target markets and accounts to support the sales process. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate development, monitoring, and analysis of sales reporting programs Assist with customer account management Handle RFQ submittals, maintenance, and follow-ups for discovery Qualify inbound requests from website, email, and phone calls Set up new customers and maintain existing customers in ERP/CRM systems (Epicor preferred) Complete supplier surveys and questionnaires Manage supplier portal requirements Review and update quarterly sales forecasts Update and communicate customer order status Review orders for accuracy and completeness; provide backup order entry support as needed Provide occasional travel support (5–10%) Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Four-year degree preferred (Business Administration or Mechanical Engineering) 5+ years of experience in a sales administration or equivalent role, ideally within a manufacturing organization Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (Epicor preferred) Ability to work effectively across departments Physical and Mental Demands Frequent sitting; extended periods of computer and phone use Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (documents, laptops, etc.) Occasional customer visits requiring travel Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and office equipment Working Environment Office-based role within a manufacturing environment Moderate noise level What You’ll Get 10 Paid Holidays Service-Based PTO Gainsharing (50/50 profit split with employees, paid quarterly) Fast-paced, engaging work environment On-site fitness center and medical clinic Weekly pay Performance-based merit raises Climate-controlled environment About STS Technical Services STS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm that partners with some of the largest names in the aerospace, manufacturing, defense, and industrial industries.
