About the role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Market Research Analyst to support our team's growth initiatives with a broad focus across various verticals. This role will involve leveraging data-driven insights to identify opportunities, enhance operational efficiencies, and contribute to strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will develop expertise in data scraping techniques, database management and cleansing, and the application of AI tools to streamline processes for a short-staffed team, all while ensuring full compliance with internal IT protocols and safety measures. Responsibilities Generate and distribute leads to regional teams from current customers, tradeshows, Sam.gov & Construct Connect. Work with Regional Teams to ensure opportunities are entered and updated in the CRM. Become a subject matter expert by attending virtual webinars, internal outreach sessions, and industry days to develop a comprehensive understanding of all verticals Leviton sells into, in order to assist with growth strategy initiatives. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities across diverse sectors. Scrape and aggregate data from various sources to build robust datasets for analysis. Manage and cleanse databases to maintain data accuracy and integrity. Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to improve team efficiencies, such as automation for data processing and reporting, while adhering to all company IT policies and security protocols. Qualifications Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong ability to build relationships. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with great attention to detail. Organizational skills for self and group in project management situations. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Creative in finding workarounds and relentless in pursuit of solutions. Proactive mindset that seeks out the next productive task for the team and company rather than waiting to be assigned. Familiarity with AI applications for business efficiency (e.g., machine learning basics or tools like Copilot for internal use cases). Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field (preferred). Experience with data database management systems. Understanding of IT compliance and data security best practices. Travel 1 to 2 times per year for Team Meetings.
