What does a Sales Analyst do at Rinnai? The Sales Operations Analyst is a self-starter who thrives and enjoys a detail-oriented environment. The Operations Analyst reports to the Manager of Sales and Marketing Operations and works closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Corporate Finance and Accounting. The Operations Analyst is tasked with various duties including, but not limited to, overall analysis of Distributor sales and pull-through, market share reporting, and ad-hoc analysis and tracking; all through running reports, mining and analyzing data, creating summaries, and researching areas of disconnect. In addition, the analyst will be tasked with working with internal groups to automate current reporting packages as well as documenting and streamlining processes. The analyst will be invited to make recommendations to management around reporting improvements and process enhancements. They will collaborate closely with internal operational teams for timely delivery of tasks and reports. This position is located at 103 International Drive Peachtree City, GA with a hybrid schedule. RESPONSIBILITIES Publish monthly performance reporting. Perform analysis of monthly and quarterly performance reporting. Document process and streamline where applicable. Interface with Product Management regarding pricing structure and updates to List Price. Update ERP (Syteline/CSI) with changes and updates (item pricing and matrix). Manage Market Pricing Programs. Work with internal groups to automate current manual reporting. Streamline and document current processes. Monthly Market Share reporting. Develop and maintain Power BI reports and Salesforce dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and sources. Analyze data trends, patterns, and anomalies to identify opportunities and areas for improvement. Represent the team in various cross functional work streams and ad hoc analytical projects. Execution of payments for pro/contractor and builder rebates. Manage Job Quotes and distribution to sales team. Support the testing, analysis, and reporting function in projects across multiple functional areas of the business, including Marketing, Pricing, Sales, Operations, and others. Other duties and responsibilities as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and/or equivalent work-related experience. Experience in applying sound business judgment when developing responses to sales opportunities and/or resolving contract issues. Accurate, able to maintain confidentiality and build trust with employees.
SKILLS High attention to detail and accuracy. Advanced user of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Bi, SharePoint, Teams. Advanced user of Salesforce. Advanced user of Service Now. Analytical, flexible, and able to adjust and learn new processes and procedures. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Data skills – Aggregating, Managing, and Maintaining of data structures. Ability to interface effectively with internal and external customers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills.
ABILITIES Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines. Strong written and verbal skills. Ability to contribute to team effectiveness. Utilize metrics, templates, and processes for reporting. Interpret operations and sales data and provide summary and dashboard information to management. Drive consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting through process management and discipline. Build and maintain data points and data flow. Ability to deliver to deadlines. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements: Physical Activities Constant Standing and sitting for prolonged periods. Constant communication with others. Occasionally adjusting or moving objects us to 20 pounds. Repeating motions of wrists, hands, and/or fingers, inputting data into ERP system.
Physical Demands Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing and something bending.
