Provide a collaborative and positive experience between company and client.
Collaborate with clients to develop customized solutions or adaptations of company products to meet specific requirements that drive the company's strategies.
Be the client contact for all needs.
Prepare and deliver presentations to explain company products and services to potential and existing customers, tailoring the information to their specific needs and understanding.
Prepare and deliver client proposals that include deal structure, regulatory requirements, pricing, coverages, and other key conditions associated with the deal; negotiate with clients on proposal to conclusion.
Prepare and present program submissions to the respective business functions for evaluation and pricing, considering key underwriting data, information associated with the opportunity to evaluate risk profile, economics, operational requirements, regulatory and compliance approval, and overall risk assessment.
Build and maintain industry relationships with brokers, agents, consultants, and sales teams as a conduit for new business opportunities.
Review and provide approval for client marketing material and distribution.
Design, implement and measure client retention strategies.
Review and audit client to ensure they are current on all compliance and financial requirements.
Oversee the execution and tracking of all client agreements, as necessary.
Compose and deliver business reviews for all assigned accounts, at frequency defined in agreement.
Deliver reporting to the company management team on client performance (sales, risk, growth, projects, etc.).
Submit and manage budget for assigned accounts, continuously looking for growth and efficiency opportunities.
Attend industry conferences for the purpose of gaining new business and industry knowledge.
SUCCESS FACTORS!
Strong understanding of industry, including various insurance/risk and administration structures
Strong knowledge of the company's products and services, as well as relevant technical concepts and industry trends
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective sales strategies.
Ability to build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and persuade them to use company solutions
Excellent relationship building skills. Quickly gain confidence as go to resource at company for all needs.
Excellent finance and operations acumen
Excellent problem-solving skills and desire to own the solution
Ability to work with all levels of client organizations from C-level to hourly agent.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products with focus on Excel
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Ability to stay on target under pressure and meet tight timelines.
College degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
2 years' experience in sales with assigned clients in financial or insurance services.
Ability and desire to travel about 40% of the time, some overnight stays, must be able to travel by air.
