We are looking for a sales and marketing professional with a proven track record of generating and closing qualified leads. As our Sales & Marketing Director, you will partner with the Executive Director and District Director of Sales to improve occupancy at our
139 independent living & 42 apt assisted living community . We will provide you with the training and support to develop referral sources and bring in new residents. Are you Commission Driven?

Brookdale is a Great Place to Be Responsibilities Maintain and improve occupancy and revenue by implementing the community marketing and business plans. Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and professional referral sources. Generate leads and close sales. Plan, coordinate, and execute monthly prospect and referral source activities and events. Partner with Regional Sales management to develop and execute marketing plans to achieve occupancy goals. Supervise at least two FTEs (Marketing Coordinator(s) and/or Sales Counselor(s)) to achieve marketing and business plan results. Respond promptly to inquiries from referral sources, prospective residents, and families; provide information about services and programs. Utilize sales processes and systems to track information, prepare reports, and achieve occupancy goals. Conduct outside Business Development calls to meet goals for professional leads per week; cultivate relationships with local professionals and organizations. Provide presentations about services and market advantages to prospective referral sources and community groups. Collaborate with Marketing and Creative Services for advertising materials; monitor conversion ratios and report performance. Maintain knowledge of lead management systems and sales tools; supervise staff to meet marketing objectives. Perform other duties as assigned to support community occupancy and revenue targets.

Required skills and qualifications
At least 5 years of sales management experience with strong leadership and communication skills Experience in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare Proven track record of generating and closing a high percentage of qualified leads Effective listening and written/verbal communication Self-directed, able to prioritize tasks and accept directives Team player with industry knowledge and the ability to connect with families Ability to build relationships with local business partners Strong business development and event planning skills
Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education. A minimum of five years sales experience, preferably in retirement, healthcare or related fields, with a proven track record of generating and closing a high percentage of qualified leads is required. Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements
Frequent travel requires a valid drivers license. Management/Decision Making
Applies existing guidelines to make varied decisions within a department. Uses sound judgment to solve moderately complex problems based on precedent and reasonableness. Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, Medicare/Medicaid regulations related to product lines, and state regulations affecting service delivery. Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office; experience with lead management systems; ability to manage time and projects; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with diverse personalities and build trust. Base pay in range will be determined by applicants skills and experience. This role is eligible for monthly and quarterly commission opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the companys 401(k) program.
