Position: Sales Assistant / Inside Customer Service
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (3 months, then conversion to full-time)
Salary: $–$/hr (may be negotiable for exceptional candidates)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8: AM – 4: PM
Responsibilities:
Manage customer orders from offer to purchase order, ensuring all sales terms are met
Process orders in the company system and confirm deliveries with production as needed
Communicate daily with customers regarding order status and updates
Handle customer claims and forward to the quality department as appropriate
Assist the Key Account Manager with monthly reports, metrics, and statistics
Maintain professional, timely, and courteous communication with all customers
Process shipping paperwork, including labels, packing slips, and invoicing
Collaborate with all departments to support efficient operations and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
2+ years of office experience, preferably in customer service, sales, or inside sales
Fluent in English (written and verbal); Spanish is a plus
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities
Experience with numbers/metrics; proficiency in Excel and Office
Reliable, self-managed, and detail-oriented
High school diploma required; higher education is a plus
