As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers while ensuring that store operations run smoothly. This is a selling role and candidates are expected to drive sales and hit performance goals Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Demonstrate product knowledge and effectively communicate features and benefits to customers. Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales. Maintain accurate cash handling procedures during transactions. Assist in stock management, including receiving, organizing, and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new items and promotions. Support supervisory staff in training new team members and maintaining store standards. Perform retail math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and inventory management. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly. Basic understanding of retail math principles for effective inventory management. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Experience with product demonstrations is a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A proactive attitude towards learning new products and sales techniques is essential.
