Seafood Team Member As a key player in our dynamic seafood team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and promoting the sale of high-quality products. Your primary responsibilities will include: Maintaining a visually appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, rotating and removing out-of-date products, filling ice tables, and performing other duties as assigned. Ensuring accurate department signage and pricing. Managing back stock to maintain good order. Contributing to a safe, clean and well-organized working and shopping environment. Assisting with sampling programs, maintaining sample areas, and ensuring they are full, clean and appealing. Cleaning cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required. Preparing fish by skinning, boning, cooking or smoking; boxing up, labeling, and dating cooked fish. Supporting periodic inventory checks. Providing excellent customer service, addressing customer needs in a timely and effective manner, and modeling suggestive selling techniques. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining knowledge of all products carried in the department, conducting visual examinations of products for quality and freshness, and proactively reading labels and familiarizing yourself with various products.
