Retail Cashier As a Retail Cashier at our store, your primary role is to greet and engage with customers as they enter, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Your proactive attitude drives sales efforts, ensuring every customer finds what they need and more. With a deep understanding of our merchandise, you'll offer informed recommendations and assistance. Additionally, staying informed about casino events and visiting patron groups enables you to provide a personalized experience. Your dedication to customer satisfaction makes every visit memorable. What you will do as a Retail Cashier: Collect payments by cash, credit card, or TS Rewards points; ensure customer receives proper change; process internal charges including Hotel room charges and city ledger charges according to department policies. Capability to accurately complete daily sheet and correct all voids/errors as they occur while following appropriate procedures via Cashier's Training Manual to include discounts, damages, returns, special orders, store to store transfers, repairs, etc. Knowledge to ensure MICROS system is closed out at shift end; always prepare monies for bank deposit; and ensure Cage drop is prepared using proper close out procedures. To be successful as a Retail Cashier, you'll need: Previous money handling experience with basic math skills required. Ability to work in a smoking environment for an entire shift. Ability to make decisions in a stressful environment and accommodate a flexible work schedule is required.
