Job Summary
The Sales Coordinator provides high-level support to customers and the internal sales organization for preparation, processing, and coordination of customer orders. They achieve superior technical skills and understanding of the pre-order and order fulfillment process, and practice strong communication skills both internally and externally. They possess the desire to achieve a high level of professionalism through continuous improvement processes and practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain Operating procedures and best practices as established by dealer. Help to establish, develop, and maintain the desired levels of customer satisfaction for each account and project. Serve as point of contact and communication with the customer on designated projects. Prepare vendor quotes at request of Salesperson. Conduct sales calls with or without Sales Representative, as needed. Process complete and accurate orders and track acknowledgements. Utilize all order management reports to track orders. Publish status reports for review by the sales team and customer. Participate in regular team meetings, take notes, and update all parties on the status of projects and activities. Coordinate the production of installation drawings with the Designer/Architect and customer to ensure functionality of product as well as accuracy of specifications. Coordinate requests for delivery, service, and installation with Operations personnel or outside contractors. Perform site visits as necessary. Be familiar with all contract agreements between the customer and Workpointe. Ensure that all punch list items have been resolved and orders closed out for invoicing in a timely fashion, including warranty items. Identify and enlist resources necessary to effectively service the customer. Maintain accurate and standardized order records. Lead special projects. Assist in Worksheet/2020 for Sales Team. Regularly participate in training on products and trends. Supervisory Responsibilities None Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required Customer Service work experience - preferred. Experience with dealership business systems- preferred. Furniture industry experience - preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). Proficiency in CAP 2020 and Trello, or willingness to learn quickly. Ability to learn and apply technical skills in dealership business system. Understanding of the complexities and sophistication required to thrive in the dealer environment. Fluid interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a wide range of customers, vendors, personnel, and departments. Ability to see the big picture and integrate into day-to-day tasks and activities. Excellent and effective oral and written communication. Prior experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Experience in customer service required. Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment in business transactions, and to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.
