Lakeside Manufacturing - America's premier stainless steel utility cart manufacturer - is looking for a Sales Design Manager to lead our cafeteria layout design and estimating team. Since 1946, we've been delivering innovative stainless-steel solutions for moving, storing, dispensing, and merchandising in the foodservice industry.

This on-site role is located in West Allis, WI. This key position will coach a team of 3–5 Sales Designers while collaborating closely with customers, engineering, and production to bring creative, customized cafeteria service line solutions to life.

What You'll Do

Lead and mentor a team of Sales Designers in creating tailored cafeteria layouts

Partner with clients to understand needs and propose innovative solutions

Coordinate with production and engineering to ensure smooth project execution

Improve design processes using tools like Excel, NetSuite, and CRM platforms

Represent Lakeside at trade shows and customer site visits (≤ 25% travel)

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's in design, engineering, or business (preferred)

Experience leading creative and technical design teams

Skilled in reading/interpreting specs, quoting, and solving design challenges

Passion for customer collaboration and bringing visions to life

Exceptional communication, organization, and follow-through
