SDR Apprentice

As an SDR Apprentice at Salesforce, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on driving growth within the SMB market. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in prospecting, lead generation, and understanding the sales cycle, while also contributing to the streamlining of business operations within our SDR organization.

The SDR Apprentice Program at Salesforce is designed to develop high-impact sales skills and prepare you for a successful career in Sales Development. Our proven program provides you with the opportunity to learn from experienced SDRs and managers, gaining expertise in Salesforce solutions, solutions selling, and customer profiling. You will collaborate closely with our team to strategically target and engage prospects within the SMB market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the SDR team by contributing to the streamlining of internal processes and workflows.
  • Qualify inbound leads generated through Salesforce marketing campaigns, events, and website traffic, using our Customer 360 platform.
  • Collaborate closely with SDRs and Sales Executives to drive interest and schedule discovery meetings with potential customers.
  • Perform research on target SMB accounts, identifying key contacts, and helping develop personalized outreach strategies.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and shadowing opportunities to learn best practices in sales engagement and opportunity creation.
  • Track and manage prospecting activity using Salesforce's CRM platform to ensure proper follow-up and lead conversion.

By Qualifications:

  • Must be within less than 1-year of having completed a Bachelors Degree or Advanced Degree from the start date of this role OR graduate/alumni/participant of a workforce development training program (i.e. re:work, Year Up, i.c.stars, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Enthusiasm for building a career in sales and technology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for learning and personal growth.
  • Previous internship or work experience in sales or customer service is a plus.
