We are seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities with small-to mid-sized employers across the U.S. by promoting our employee benefits and insurance brokerage solutions . You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and scheduling appointments for our senior sales team to close.

Identify and research target businesses in assigned territories or verticals.
Contact decision-makers (business owners, HR leaders, CFOs) via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
Tailor outreach to highlight solutions that address employer pain points in benefits, HR, and compliance.
Lead Qualification
Engage prospects in discovery conversations to understand business size, current benefits offerings, and challenges.
Qualify leads based on decision-making authority, budget, and timeline.
Log all interactions in CRM and maintain accurate pipeline data.
Appointment Setting
Schedule qualified meetings for our Senior Advisors/Brokers.
Coordinate and confirm meeting details to ensure high attendance rates.
Provide Advisors with detailed notes on prospect needs and potential solutions.
Market Intelligence
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and compliance changes in employee benefits.
Relay prospect feedback to help shape marketing campaigns and outreach strategies.
13 years of experience or more in B2B sales, lead generation, or sales development , ideally in insurance, employee benefits, HR tech, or related fields.
Strong phone presence and excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Comfort discussing high-level business challenges with executives.
Proven ability to meet or exceed activity and appointment goals.
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and prospecting tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of employee benefits , insurance brokerage, or HR/PEO services.
Experience selling to HR leaders, CFOs, or business owners.
Knowledge of compliance considerations in employee benefits and payroll.
Number of qualified meetings scheduled.
Conversion rates from lead to opportunity.
Pipeline growth and CRM accuracy.
Contribution to overall revenue goals. Strong English speaking skills are required. Must be confident and quick at replies.
