The business was formed in 2008 and today serves over three million participants nationally in the K-12, Corporate and Government markets.
WHO YOU ARE:
A sales leader for our clients Private Sector Retirement Solutions Segment. You will facilitate initial conversations, develop team-wide best practices, and be an integral member of our sales organization. You will work 100% remotely.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Create excitement about the retirement services our client provides.
Actively prospect business owners and advisors to generate interest in 401(k) plans and related services and contact participants to provide rollover solutions for their retirement assets.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITES:
Build rapport with prospects and transition 'cold' inquiries over time into 'warm' responsive prospects.
Develop new business leads and enhance existing relationships.
Utilize prospecting and research tools, coordinate with assigned reps to qualify opportunities; prepare for and book pitch meetings with target prospects.
Strategize with team members to innovate & improve the overall sales development process.
Understand the customer's environment and introduce new concepts to solve the customer's problems.
Support marketing campaigns to help optimize revenue.
Conduct sales development best practices with email, phone, and social drips using enablement technology to connect with new prospects.
Work closely and collaboratively with the sales team to develop and implement appropriate prospect communication plans.
Enter pertinent prospect information into CRM and sales engagement platform. Update and expand as interactions occur.
Internalize best practices and act on coaching advice. Enhance product knowledge through regularly scheduled training sessions. Attend trainings as appropriate.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Bachelor's degree
At least 1 year of sales and/or marketing experience
Desired to be a career sales development representative (SDR)
Interested in sales career development
Retirement plan industry experience, a plus.
Experience using technology such as ZoomInfo, Outreach.io, and CRM systems strongly preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Compensation: base plus commission
Base salary $50-$60k plus incentives first year OTE around $90k
