2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Our technology client in Chicago is seeking a driven and strategic Sales Director (Demand-Side, Platform Advertising) to join their performance team in the Americas region. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering innovative digital advertising solutions for app performance and retargeting for mobile and connected TV. You will be part of a team that pushes the boundaries of digital advertising technology and works closely with top-tier brands, agencies and partners.

Base Salary Pay: $150k - $170k + bonus
Responsibilities:
Lead Acquisition: Identify and pursue high-value opportunities by building strong relationships with targeted advertisers and agencies, focusing on driving app performance and retargeting outcomes Client Growth: Foster long-term relationships with current clients, creating opportunities for repeat business and collaborating on long-term contracts, quarterly business reviews and strategy development Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with key partners in the advertising ecosystem, such as MMPs, DMPs and platform providers, to generate larger-scale partnerships and drive value for clients Innovation and Strategy: Work with cross-functional teams to gather market feedback and drive product innovation. Partner with marketing and external teams to develop lead generation strategies, thought leadership content and referral programs Team Collaboration: Align internal teams—product, engineering, business operations—to ensure that client needs are met efficiently, optimizing the performance of campaigns and projects
Required Qualifications:
Proven track record of selling demand-side solutions directly to major brands and advertisers within the advertising technology ecosystem Deep knowledge of the mobile app performance space, including DSPs, MMPs, Native Media and performance metrics such as SKAN Extensive experience working with gaming studios, brand advertisers and independent agencies across a range of app performance categories Strategic relationship-building skills with a focus on long-term value and business impact rather than transactional sales Self-motivated, high-energy individual with a passion for achieving business objectives and driving success Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify challenges and implement solutions Understanding of campaign delivery and operational challenges faced by clients in executing successful advertising strategies Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field
