Overview of the Role InMobi seeks a passionate, ambitious, and driven Sales Director to leverage brand and agency relationship expertise within the mobile advertising technology space. You’ll join a high-performing team supporting your growth within the InMobi programmatic sales ecosystem. This role offers a chance to impact the North American sales team significantly, especially in the Midwest region based out of Chicago, with some travel for client meetings and events. The Impact You’ll Make As a Sales Director in Chicago, you will drive sales from a portfolio of key agencies, brands, and direct clients across the Midwest by creating and selling effective mobile advertising and platform solutions. You will also shape the North American sales strategy, go-to-market, and execution plan. Identify, acquire, advise, and develop relationships with targeted brands, agencies, and partners for long-term success. Develop new and longstanding business with advertiser clients using your ad tech market knowledge and InMobi’s unique selling propositions. Lead private programmatic buying partnerships with PMPs and others. Manage data partnerships to enable media activation of InMobi Exchange and Audiences. Identify and close upsell opportunities with existing clients for various InMobi platform offerings. Use industry and product knowledge to develop and demonstrate strategic POVs with go-to-market strategies. Coordinate cross-functionally to align InMobi products and resources to client needs. The Experience We Need 12-15 years of brand and agency sales experience, with a track record of meeting/exceeding revenue goals. At least five years in the programmatic ad tech ecosystem, with experience at an online publisher, ad network, exchange, or similar. Strong communication skills and ability to build credible, long-term client relationships. High-energy, self-motivated, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Strong analytical and storytelling skills for uncovering opportunities. Proactive problem solver with cross-functional collaboration skills. Curious, fast learner, and autonomous worker.
