The Opportunity
We are seeking a sales-driven General Manager with proven B2B facilities service experience. This role is for a hunter, not a farmer-someone who thrives on opening new accounts, driving market share growth, and leading from the front in sales. You will personally prospect, present, and close new business, while supporting your reps in the field.
Operational leadership is important, but your first mission is to grow top-line revenue through strategic prospecting, targeted selling, and competitive wins.
Key Responsibilities
Lead from the front in sales-personally prospect, present, and close new business, and support your reps in the field Build and manage a high-performance sales pipeline focused on net-new revenue Recruit, coach, and motivate a hunter-minded growth team Provide input and feedback for strategic planning and marketing initiatives Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure retention and referrals Oversee accounts receivable performance to keep accounts current and profitable Supervise warehouse floor operations, inventory flow, and fleet readiness Drive continual improvement in SOPs and training programs Be open to travel for training and upskilling opportunities Manage P&L with an eye on maximizing growth and margin
Requirements
Proven B2B facilities service experience (industrial laundry, hygiene services, janitorial, or similar) Demonstrated success as a sales hunter, opening and growing new accounts Experience leading teams in sales and operations in a competitive, service-driven market Ability to balance aggressive growth with operational excellence Military leadership experience a plus Strong communication skills, accountability, and results focus
