Join a leading vacuum furnace engineering organization aimed at helping its customers reduce costs and maximize efficiency through the delivery of premium quality products that are personalized, technologically advanced and durable over time. These vacuum furnaces and ovens for heat treatment can be used in a variety of industries including defense contractors, healthcare, and aerospace.
As a Business Development Executive, you will assist with the expansion of products in the northeastern territory. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience selling heat treatment technology and machinery in a greenfield territory. Hunting new business is paramount for success in this role. Position: Business Development Executive (New Accounts)
Compensation: $80K base + commission
Location: Northeast (Virginia to Maine)
Travel: 4 days per week to northeastern territory

Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the target market.
- Analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities and execute targeted sales strategies within the Northeast region.
- Focus on both the sale of new equipment as well as on service and after sales market
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
- Conduct compelling technical presentations, effectively communicating the value proposition and addressing client concerns.
- Present customized proposals that address the specific needs and challenges of each client.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving revenue targets.
- Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with the vacuum heat treatment industry.
- Experience in selling custom solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce and SAP Concur.
- Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Willingness to travel extensively to client sites and trade shows/industry events and availability to travel to company headquarters when required
