Job Title: Sales Engineer – DICES Communication Systems Location: Santa Maria, CA Travel Requirement: Up to 25% : We are seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer to support the sale of DICES communication systems to government and commercial customers. Based in Santa Maria, CA, this position plays a critical role in identifying customer requirements, presenting technical solutions, and driving new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure tailored solutions meet mission-critical needs. This role requires up to 25% travel to customer sites for product demonstrations, system evaluations, and relationship development. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a technical expert in DICES communication systems during pre-sales and post-sales activities Understand customer requirements and provide tailored product and solution recommendations Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and proposals Collaborate with engineering, program management, and customer service teams Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients while identifying new opportunities Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Communications, or a related field preferred 2+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in defense or communications systems Strong understanding of communication system architecture and integration Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (if required) How You Will Be Rewarded We offer a comprehensive total rewards approach to compensation, providing incentives and benefits that extend far beyond the base salary.
