This Sales Executive drives growth in the brown box segment by cultivating new business, managing client relationships, and delivering tailored packaging solutions. The role blends strategic prospecting, persuasive communication, and cross-functional collaboration to exceed sales goals.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Engagement Pursue and follow up on all brown box leads
Forecast and manage pipeline progression
Build long-term relationships even when immediate opportunities aren’t present
Close contracts efficiently and effectively
Strategic Selling & Collaboration Recommend solutions considering design, costing, scheduling, and availability
Communicate project requirements via CRM
Ensure internal alignment across departments for client success
Attend tradeshows, networking events, and industry functions
Sales Execution & Market Insight Promote ideas persuasively and influence decision-makers
Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and customer needs
Deliver compelling sales presentations
Achieve or exceed agreed-upon sales goals
Qualifications:
CRM proficiency + MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Understanding of manufacturing, design, and 3PL capabilities
Familiarity with competitor strategies and offerings
Financial fluency: profit, cost, margin awareness
High ethical standards and ownership mindset
Energetic, optimistic, and fun to work with
Strong project management and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Creative problem-solving and continuous learning
Additional Information
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's of Science in Business or related field
5+ years B2B sales in packaging, printing, displays, or marketing agencies
$3–5M book of business preferred
Other Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen
Travel: Up to 35% domestic travel
Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
Pre-Employment Candidates must successfully complete background and reference checks, a drug screening, and a physical exam prior to hire.
