We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to drive business development for our in-home wound care services in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. This position is ideal for a results-oriented professional with a background in healthcare sales, particularly in wound care or home care services from a large-scale organization. Reporting to the sales leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our referral network, educating potential partners on our tailored in-home patient care model, and contributing to our growth in providing specialized wound management to patients recovering from surgery, chronic conditions, or complex injuries. This is a field-based role that requires strong relationship-building skills, a passion for improving patient outcomes, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities Identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with key referral sources, including home health agencies, facility discharge coordinators, nursing homes, community and outpatient clinics, podiatry practices, and individual healthcare providers to generate leads for in-home wound care services. Conduct in-person presentations, product demonstrations, and educational sessions on our advanced therapies (e.g., NPWT, oxygen therapy, ultrasound wave therapy, skin grafting, and UltraMIST debridement) to highlight how our in-home model optimizes healing, reduces infection risks, and supports patient comfort and dignity. Develop and execute territory sales strategies for the Minneapolis region, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and achievement of quarterly sales targets to increase patient referrals and partnerships. Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure smooth transitions for new patients, including coverage verification, initial assessments, and ongoing support during weekly in-home visits. Track and report sales activities, pipeline progress, and outcomes using CRM tools, providing insights to leadership on market trends and opportunities in the wound care sector. Attend industry conferences, networking events, and association meetings to represent our services and stay abreast of advancements in wound care and home health. Provide ongoing education and resources to partners on wound prevention, management, and our customized treatment plans, fostering long-term collaborations that align with shared goals of patient well-being. Manage administrative tasks such as contract negotiations, compliance with healthcare regulations, and follow-up on leads to close deals efficiently. Contribute to internal process improvements by sharing feedback from the field on patient needs, partner challenges, and innovative ways to enhance our in-home care delivery. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced certifications in sales or healthcare (e.g., Wound Care Sales Certification) are a plus. Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in wound care sales or selling home care services; candidates with a background from a large, established home care organization are strongly preferred. Deep knowledge of the wound care landscape, including in-home patient management, chronic wound challenges, and advanced therapies like NPWT and skin substitutes. Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with healthcare stakeholders, such as physicians, nurses, administrators, and discharge planners, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Strong understanding of the Minneapolis healthcare market, including regulatory requirements, reimbursement processes, and partnerships in home health and post-acute care. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex medical concepts to non-clinical audiences. Self-motivated and organized, with proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and remote collaboration tools. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the Minneapolis metropolitan area (up to 75% field time). Passion for patient-centered care, ethical sales practices, and a commitment to improving access to specialized wound care for in-home patients. Compensation We offer a competitive base salary starting at $140,000 for top-tier candidates, with flexibility to increase the offer for the ideal hire to ensure we secure the right person for long-term success.
