Position Overview As a direct member of a sales and advisory team, the Sales Executive (SE) is responsible for leading new and existing account relationships. The Sales Executive will develop new business opportunities, manage overall client relationships with the support of a service team, and drive strategy on complex accounts.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop new client relationships through referrals, networking, industry associations, and professional connections Actively prospect new business opportunities using sales tools, events, and personal/professional networks Identify cross-selling and account expansion opportunities Follow up on leads promptly and manage all activity in the CRM system Achieve annual sales goals and maintain an active pipeline of 3x the goal Deliver efficient, professional service to clients in partnership with service teams Analyze risk, coverage, and program structures while recommending solutions Educate clients on insurance solutions and offer innovative strategies Work closely with carriers and service teams to review proposals and ensure timely deliverables Stay current with industry changes, carrier products, and applicable legislation Assist with special projects and act as a backup when needed
Qualifications & Experience:<BR> 5+ years of sales/consulting experience in a professional services industry Prior insurance sales or client executive experience in an agency, broker, or insurance company setting Proven ability to build and grow a book of business with strong client retention Strong consulting, presentation, and relationship-building skills Bachelors degree preferred Insurance experience required CEBS designation preferred Life & Health license preferred (or ability to attain within 60 days)<BR>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
