As a Sales Manager, Agency Development working on our A-team, he / she will pave the path for Taboola’s sales and partnership efforts with Big 6 agency holding companies and large Tier 2 media agencies nationally with a heavier focus in the West region. This person will uncover, develop, and sign RFP’s and agency wide trading agreements with holding companies and/or their subsidiaries. In this role, they will be heavily supported by our Sales, Account Management, Product, Finance, and Legal teams. This position can be based in either New York or Los Angeles.
What skills and qualifications are essential for this person :
5-10+ years of digital media sales experience
A deep rolodex of senior agency leaders and investment leads at the major holding companies, such as WPP, and independent agencies across the designated region
Solid client contacts within the Auto, B2B, Education, Entertainment, Finance, Hardware / Home Services, Health / Pharma, Tech, Travel / Tourism, and Retail / DTC categories
Vast knowledge of the ad tech industry landscape and experience working on programmatic campaigns
Proven track record of obtaining and closing large $100k+ RFPs, agency newfronts and/or agency trading deals
Outstanding persuasive communication and presentation skills, with strong ability to communicate complex solutions to a range of agency audiences
A self-starter who enjoys hunting for new business and the art of the digital media sale
How you’ll make an impact:
Leverage your existing network of agency executives to introduce and evangelize Taboola as an important and necessary partner and collaborate with your Enterprise colleagues on their ICP accounts.
Educate agency contacts at all levels (media buyers, planners, directors, supervisors, VP’s, CIO’s, etc) on Taboola’s offering
Successfully create key partnerships at holding agencies to influence and motivate advertisers’ business strategy.
Drive RFP activity and win new client business
Develop agency trading agreements
Effectively communicate your Holding Companies and Independent Agencies media needs to internal Taboola teams including product, marketing, programmatic and operations to help shape the Taboola investment in innovation to drive the Brand and Agency business.
