Position Position Purpose : In this OBM Sales Manager Role you will be responsible for: Identify new segment / customer to promote Delta automation product and capabilities; Engaging brand new target customer directly and establish contacts in commercial and engineering (cold calling); Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to responsible customers; Maintain a continuous knowledge of customer product roadmap in order to identify new opportunities; Build and maintain strong and long-lasting customer relationships from daily operation to executive level; Ensure timely and successful delivery that meet both the customers needs and Delta objectives; Provide budget / forecast metrics for assigned accounts and secure the financial targets; Responsibilities / KPIs Year over year sales revenue growth of at least 5% New Opportunity Pipeline Meetings / RFQ / Test / Award with different weighting to ensure new opportunities incoming Partner with PM team to promote new product or develop new account On-time report / CRM: Provide timely activity reports and update opportunities in CRM system Individual-focused assignments (MBO) Qualifications Commercial understanding of Deltas product offering in Industrial & Automation segment Staying up to date with industry and business trends: marketing trends, customer demographics, technical advances, and competition Cross-function partnership with product management team to promote new technology / product / application Ability to communicate and present effectively at numerous levels Ability to create strategic plans to achieve results-oriented goals Ability to work under pressure to maintain deadlines and deliver results Maintaining confidentiality Engineering background is a MUST, BSEE preferred Min. 5+ yrs of experience selling automation components (VFD / PLC / HMI / motor / servo) to HVACR, pump, Food & Beverage, logistics industries Ability to develop and implement long-term account strategy for continuous growth Ability to identify decision makers and develop close relationships within responsible accounts Willingness to travel approx. 50% of work time Strong initiative and ability to work with little supervision Able to travel out of state and country Detail-oriented with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects Strong commitment to teamwork and the success of others Mandarin speaking ability a plus Develop and maintain relationships Self-motivated with time management skills Ability to adapt to Deltas dynamic culture Trustworthy and ethical Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering and Project Management Industries: Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing
