Summary of the Role:

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Sales Manager of Corporate Partnerships to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing a team that meets and exceeds sales targets. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing sales representatives, and ensuring revenue targets are exceeded.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage, train, and develop a group of young corporate partnership sales executives
Set an example and be a leader within the Property Sales division, specifically to the team of account executives and sales representatives
Lead executive-level communication with other department leaders
Provide regular progress reports on business development goals and new business outreach
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve departmental goals
Lead sales presentations to prospective clients, including both in-person and video calls
Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team
Set and track sales targets, ensuring the team meets or exceeds them
Provide overarching strategic direction, including identifying leads, collaborating on responses, and leading sales pitches
Create and maintain a best practices and training manual to support the growth, consistency, and effectiveness of the sales team.
Identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships
Manage own personal pipeline of key decision makers and relationships
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching
Collaborate with account managers and other departmental leads
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and KPIs for upper management
Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote brand visibility
Utilize company resources to effectively manage pipeline and client relations
Assist in cross-selling across multiple PIVOT Properties, Brand, Hospitality, and other verticals
Success Criteria:
Consistently meets and exceeds team sales goals and effectively leads junior-level sales team
Develop junior sales team into long-term sales leaders at PIVOT
Manage sales activity, including new prospective client outreach, client meetings, proposals, etc.
Effectively communicates to senior leadership on sales outreach activity and revenue pipeline projections
Acts in the best interest of the company's objectives and works well with fellow team members and senior leadership
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Leader who can energize people and teams, and drive cross-functional team collaboration
An appropriate level of drive and toughness to effectively manage multiple demanding, critical projects in a fast-paced, technical environment, and a rapidly evolving industry
Firm grasp of available networking platforms within the sports management industry
Advanced negotiation & organization skills
Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills
Acute attention to detail, organization, and efficiency
Experience using Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and Google Suite
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Sports Management, Marketing, or related field
3–5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in sports, entertainment, or hospitality
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
